We are your schools' PTA; a friendly group who organise fun and exciting events for the children, parents, teachers and friends of our schools. We are a registered charity and the money we raise makes a real difference to your children's school life.

We are delighted to announce that this has been yet another fantastic year for the OPTA and we have managed to raise over £20,000 through our various events both large and small.

Our 3 main events in the year: Fireworks, the Christmas Fair and the Summer Fair were the main fundraisers. Our 'Greatest Showman' themed Fireworks raised a fantastic £3,754. The Christmas Fair generated an impressive £3,259 and finally we finished our main events with the our Lego themed Summer Fair which contributed £3,100 to the total.

Our Easter Sponsored Run, now in its third year, raised £3,486! It was a great morning and was supported by Nuffield Health who kindly provided inscribed medals for each runner which the children were thrilled to receive. The Bag 2 School collection has continued to be a winner and we hope to increase the collections to 4 times a year.

This year we also introduced the OtterLotto which has been a great success with a cheque being presented to the happy winner each month!

The focus in 2018/19 has been on raising money to provide the schools with new tablets to support the children's learning. We also provided gifts that each class chose to give to the new upcoming class. These included new bean bags/reading chairs for every class as well as sports equipment, wet play activities and a pool table and hockey table.

This year, we hope to raise even more! Please help us in any way you can, any amount of time (small or large) will make a massive difference to our schools.

As well as organising fun events for all the family, we also have some other ways of raising funds for the schools:

Matching Schemes

Please ask your employer whether they run a ‘matching scheme’ whereby they will donate an amount to match what we raise at an event as long as you (the employee) are involved in some way. For every pound we raise at an event, your employer may double it for us. We are extremely grateful for this support. So, please just ask!
