"I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness. I am the Good Shepherd" John 10: 10-11
Motivated to learn, empowered to achieve
“You are a child of God. You are wonderfully made, and precious in his sight. Before God made you, He knew you. There is no-one else like you.”
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it” Proverbs 22:6
We believe that everyone is unique, created by God and loved by Him. We want all who work and learn in our community to feel God’s love and presence as we live and grow together. We want our children to flourish; and be successful in their future lives. It is our Vision to provide a nurturing, exciting, rounded education for all our children that inspires them to want to learn more, to achieve more and to treat everyone with compassion.
“What the Spirit brings is; Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Trustfulness, Gentleness and Self-control.”
Ambition, Compassion, Endeavour, Honesty, Perseverance, Responsibility, Resilience, Respect, and Trust.
Our Aims for the Children at Ottershaw Christ Church C of E Schools
To prepare them for the next stages of their education and beyond we want all children to be ambitious in their acquisition of knowledge, skills and understanding and be proud of their achievements.
In an ever-changing world, we want our children to develop the resilience to learn, the perseverance to problem solve and the willingness to endeavour to do their best and try new things.
To prepare children for adult life and support their personal well- being and development we will teach our children to be responsible, respectful, trustworthy and honest in their relationships.
We want our children to become compassionate citizens of the world.
